1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Sola app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Sola. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Sola.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sola. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Users between 13 and 18 should have parental guidance when using the app.

3. Your account

• —You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• —You must provide accurate information during sign-up and keep it up to date.
• —You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without consent.
• —You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

• —You may not use Sola to harass, harm, or threaten any person.
• —You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
• —You may not use automated tools to scrape data or interact with Sola at scale.
• —You may not use Sola for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• —You may not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

5. Sola is an AI companion

Sola is an artificial intelligence product. It is not a licensed therapist, doctor, financial advisor, or legal professional. Conversations with Sola are not a substitute for professional advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Sola offers a free tier and a premium subscription. Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the payment method on file. You may cancel at any time from within your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, and technology within Sola — including the companion characters, UI design, and underlying models — is owned by or licensed to Sola. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the platform. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sola and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of Sola after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
