Refund Policy

We stand behind Sola. If something isn't right, here's how we'll make it right.

1. Our approach

We want every Sola user to feel that their subscription is worth it. If you genuinely feel that Sola didn't deliver, we will do our best to make it right. This policy explains how refunds work and what you can expect from us.

2. Free trial

Sola offers a free tier with no credit card required. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate whether Sola is right for you before upgrading to premium. This is intentional — we do not want you spending money on something that isn't a good fit.

3. Eligibility for a refund

  • You have been charged within the last 14 days and have not used more than 20% of your premium quota for that period.
  • You experienced a technical issue that prevented you from using the app and our team was unable to resolve it within 72 hours.
  • You were accidentally charged due to a billing error on our part.

4. Non-refundable situations

  • Subscriptions that have been active for more than 14 days.
  • Refund requests made after a subscription has already been cancelled.
  • Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play — these are governed by Apple's and Google's respective refund policies.
  • Accounts suspended for violating our Terms of Service.

5. App Store and Google Play purchases

If you subscribed via the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), the subscription is managed and billed by Apple or Google respectively. To request a refund for these purchases, you must contact Apple or Google directly through their standard refund processes. We are unable to process refunds for purchases made through these platforms.

6. How to request a refund

Email us at hello@sola.app with the subject line 'Refund Request'. Include your registered email address, the date of charge, and a brief reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days.

7. Chargebacks

We ask that you reach out to us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension. We are always happy to resolve billing disputes directly and quickly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.
