• —Conversation data: messages and voice call transcripts between you and your Sola companion.
• —Usage data: how you interact with the app — session length, feature usage, and error logs.
• —Device information: device type, OS version, and a unique device identifier for analytics.

2. How we use your data

We use your information to power your Sola experience, personalise your companion's responses, improve our models (only with your explicit consent), and send you important account updates. We never use your conversations to target you with ads.

3. Data retention

We retain your conversation history for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual conversations or your entire account at any time from within the app. Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days.

4. Who we share data with

• —No third-party advertisers — ever.
• —Trusted infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, analytics) who are contractually bound to protect your data.
• —Law enforcement only when legally compelled and to the minimum extent required.

5. Security

All conversations are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We conduct regular security audits and hold ourselves to the highest industry standards. No system is perfect, but we treat your privacy as a core product feature, not an afterthought.

6. Your rights

• —Access: request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• —Correction: update your information at any time in Account Settings.
• —Deletion: permanently delete your account and all associated data.
• —Portability: export your conversation history in a readable format.
• —Opt-out: withdraw consent for any optional data use at any time.

7. Children's privacy

Sola is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us immediately at hello@sola.app.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification and by updating the 'Last updated' date above. Continued use of Sola after a change constitutes acceptance.
